AI Use Cases Are a Muscle
Wake up, come up with ten cool ideas before breakfast. The first day you will manage two, maybe three, and feel dumb. No problem. Your brain has simply not been pushed into that mode yet. Do it for a week and you will hit ten. Do it for a month and ten is the warm-up. You will be producing hundreds!
Effective use of AI is the same shape of problem.
If you just use it the way others use it you will land where everyone else is at. The ceiling is low because the imagination behind the prompt is borrowed. The value of AI scales with the number of use cases you personally find for it. They come from forcing the tool into situations it was not "meant" for and watching what happens.
Coding assistants. Everyone uses them to write code. Far fewer use them to understand code. Pick a file you did not write. Ask why this pattern and not that one. Ask how it would be done more securely, more elegantly, more efficiently. You have just turned a code generator into a private tutor on a codebase nobody has ever taught a course on.
Image generation. It is not just about web design or replacing art. It is about expressing visual information, and it is everywhere. Take a photo of your underwhelming garden. Ask Gemini what it could look like in six months. Ask for a plan - plants, tools, materials, sequence. Now you have a design and a destination.
It is simple, but it is a knack you have to build. Just asking what could I use AI for here? opens the door. Ask it often enough and doors start opening on their own.
At ChatBotKit we built the platform to prototype those ideas fast. Most will flop. A few will stick. You will not know which is which until you ship one.
